What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs,

blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and

format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

It’s always fun going to someone else’s tailgate, but what about hosting your own instead? While this seems like a lot of work, we promise that it can be a rewarding experience in the end. From inviting all of your friends over, providing the games and food, and so much more, there’s a lot to think about, but it is something worth trying out. If you’re not sure what to do, make sure to check out some of our fun tips and tricks on how to host the perfect tailgate!

Step One: Make Sure You Have All of the Essentials

Write down a list of everything that you will need to bring with you to the tailgate!

There are so many things to think about when it comes to hosting a tailgate. From making sure you have snacks, hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, cups, games, and so much more, there’s a lot to think about and remember. If this is your first tailgate, don’t go into it blindly. We recommend making a list of all of the things that you will need when hosting an unforgettable tailgate!

Games to Keep Everyone Entertained

When it comes to tailgates, sometimes standing around and talking to people can get boring, so you need to do something to keep everyone’s spirits up and make sure they’re having fun as well. Consider getting some games that you can easily bring to your tailgate and maybe even hold competitions with one another to keep everyone entertained.

There are plenty of fun tailgates games that you can play that you can get at affordable prices! Some fun tailgate games consist of cup pong, stump, corn hole, ring toss, giant jenga, a couple different card games, or just bring a football or frisbee to play some catch.

Food and Snacks

One of the most important things that you will need for a tailgate is food and snacks. While you can bring lots of bags of potato chips, pretzels, and some dips to go along with it, if you have a small portable grill, you can also bring that with you and cook up some hot dogs, hamburgers, and so much more. Make sure to bring plenty of drinks as well to keep everyone hydrated throughout the day!

Having food is important at tailgates to keep everyone’s stamina and energy going throughout the day. Make sure that whenever you do bring food, you also get some condiments, paper plates, napkins, plastic silverware, and cups as well. Bringing trash bags is also essential as well so you can continue to keep your area around you clean to avoid making any messes.

Show Your School Spirit Through Clothing

Showing your support for your sports team through your clothing is another way to support your team. Wearing your school colors, or wearing a hat or shirt that has your team’s mascot is the easiest way to show your team spirit, so make sure to stock up on some college t-shirts, hats, and more!

Fan Decorations to Support Your Team

Another thing to consider when it comes to hosting your own tailgate is having the right decorations to support your sports team. This could range from having a flag somewhere, a tailgating tent with your college logo on it, cups or plates with the logo on it, table covers with the school logo on it, and so much more. .

Rememberyou may have many friends meeting up at your tailgate. Getting decorations and having one that is prominent and stands out could be a great way for people to easily be able to find your tailgate. When it comes down to it, decorations really add to the environment you’re in, and they show your support for your team, which is the key to a successful tailgate!

Tunes to Keep the Flow Going

You can’t host a tailgate without music! Music is something that everyone can vibe to and it’s also great when it comes to meeting new people and getting to know them. We recommend making your own playlist to keep the flow of the tailgate going. Put a mix of music in the playlist as well and even take recommendations from the people coming to your tailgate too!

It’s super easy to make a playlist too. If you have Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, or any other form of music streaming services, making up your own versatile playlist is as easy as can be, and it can be quite fun too!

Step 2: Mingle With the Crowd

One of the most important parts of a tailgate is mingling with the crowd. Whether it’s getting to know the other students around you or spending time with your friends or family, being outgoing is an important part of a tailgate.

With hosting your own tailgate, we get that this can be a challenge with everything else that you have to do, but don’t fret. Jump in on a game of cup pong when you get the chance, strike up a conversation with someone standing by themselves, ask a friend for some help cooking, and get song recommendations from the people in your tailgate to keep the energy constantly flowing.

Tailgates are a fun event that you can enjoy all four of your college years. From countless sports, such as football, basketball, baseball, and so much more, you can make friends specifically based on which sport they like best, and go to those tailgates with them. Either way, tailgates are an important part of meeting new people in college, so don’t be afraid to get out there and talk to some new people, while catching up with your own friends and family too!

Step 3: Have Fun and Cheer On Your Favorite Team

The main goal of a college tailgate is to have fun while showing your school spirit!

At tailgates, you can eat some great food, meet new people, catch up with friends, invite your parents to keep your college friends and get acquainted with your college campus, listen to some good music, and so much more while cheering on your favorite team.

The tailgate is just the first part of any college sports game. Using the tailgate to get your team spirit up, sing your school’s theme song, scream your school’s chant, and so much more is liberating and extremely fun too.
