What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs,

blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and

format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

We’re less than a month away from one of the most famous March holidays on the calendar -- St. Patrick’s Day. For many college students, this is a day of celebration from morning to night. Across the United States this holiday is a favorite for young adults, parades fill the streets, bars are packed, and various forms of green drinks flow all day long.

Shamrock leafs

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day might look a little different than the previously set traditions. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing -- it just means you spend the day with a few close friends or family members! As long as you have the right people to celebrate with, the day will be equally as fun as before.

Even though we’ve come to know March 17th for its shamrocks, beads, leprechauns, costumes, feather boas, and all green everything -- what is the real meaning behind this day? In Ireland, the holiday observes the death of Saint Patrick, the most prominent patron saint. It was made a Christian Feast Day in the 17th century and is still celebrated as a religious holiday. Feast Day does not refer to feasting on a meal, but rather an annual religious celebration dedicated to a saint.

While in the US, this holiday is mostly a celebration rather than a religious observance, wearing green colored clothing, accessories, and shamrocks is a tradition that both native Irish and Irish-Americans recognize. Shamrocks historically symbolize the holy trinity, as the three leaves denote the trinity.

With that bit of history out of the way, let’s talk about ways to celebrate the holiday this year! Since large gatherings are not an option for this year, we’re thinking most people will spend the day with a few friends.

Because of this, we think a care package makes the perfect celebratory gift for everyone. It brings the best components of the holiday together -- snacks, sweets, and accessories for you and your friends to wear!

Let’s discuss your options:

  • Premade Care Packages
  • Create Your Own Care Package

Premade Care Packages

Shamrock Surprise

This ‘Shamrock Surprise’ care package comes bursting with goodies and Irish cheer!

This box O’ goodies comes packed with everything you need to ring in the Irish merriment! The charming little box comes filled with Celtic jewels -- 33’ inch green beads for you and your friends and a ‘Kiss Me I’m Irish’ pin for the luckiest member of the group. These simple accessories will get the party going -- however this is only the beginning.

Don’t forget the Keebler Elf fudge stripe cookies, Lucky Charms cereal, Charms blow pops, and the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow -- Skittles! These fitting snacks are lumped in with other necessities -- popcorn, granola bars, Reese’s, Chips Ahoy, Oreos, Snickers, Doublemint Gum, Sweet Tarts, and more.

This is more than enough snacks to go around, and once you're through with the box, your food coma will be so heavy you’ll need a nap rather than continue the celebrations!

The best part about this box is the price -- $30, which is perfect for three friends. Each of you pitch in $10 dollars, one of you preorders the box, and it arrives on the big day ready to go and stress free. That way you won’t have to fuss over preparing food for the celebration, no headaches here! Just dump the box into a pile, grab your snacks, and the fun begins.

Healthy Shamrock Surprise

This ‘Healthy Shamrock Surprise’ care package is the perfect way to celebrate while still adhering to their health conscious needs!

We know not everyone is into the salty snacks and sweet candies and would prefer a healthier option to celebrate the day! Your St. Patrick’s Day wish is our command because we give you the ‘Healthy Shamrock Surprise’ care package. It’s the same concept as the care package above, but with healthy snacks and without the Reese’s or Snickers.

In this box you’ll get your celebratory accessories -- green beads and ‘Kiss Me I’m Irish’ pin to get the fun started. Then you’ll be able to dive into all of the healthy and delicious snacks. The box comes filled with protein bars, bunny grahams, white cheddar chickpea puffs, plantain chips, veggie chips, Larabars, oatmeal chocolate chip Zing Bar, tea, and more!

Did we mention that each care package comes with the option to add a 50-75 word personal message? The greeting card will come printed with the message. This is a great option for parents who want to send their students a St. Patrick’s Day motivation booster care package or friends who want to add a funny note to their box.

Care package or goodie box left by a sneaky leprechaun? We don’t know.

Don’t see the perfect premade care package on our list? Not to worry, the Irish spirit is still within reach because there are plenty of other options to choose from! The other available St. Patrick’s Day care packages are both more extensive and less extensive than the ones we’ve featured -- meaning that some boxes come stuffed with more goodies, and others have less treats. This ensures that you can find the perfect box to fit your student’s needs and tastes, all while keeping your wallet and filled with gold after you make the purchase. Your student will be bursting with joy while their friends are green with envy at the sight of the snacks and treats!

Create Your Own Care Package

Create your own care package to ensure you get all their favorite snacks, sweets, and candies, and necessary St. Patrick’s Day accessories!

There might be a number of reasons why you want to create your own care package. If you’re ordering one for you and your friends, one person might want 5 bags of Goldfish as their snack for the day -- and the only want to ensure this is through ordering a custom care package. Alternatively, for parents, you might know you have a picky student who only eats certain things, and you wouldn’t want to send them a package filled with things they won’t eat.

Even if you don’t have a specific reason for ordering a custom care package, sometimes we want to meticulously and thoughtfully choose items for our loved ones. It shows extra appreciation, love, and care towards someone, and who doesn’t want to be on the receiving end of a thoughtful gift?

Students struggle throughout the semester with all of the exams, papers, presentations, extracurriculars, and events they must attend all while trying to maintain a social life. Mid-semester blues are a real thing, and leading up to finals -- they’ll need a pick me up, a little extra motivation boost to get them through the end of the semester. A care package is a great way to make this happen, and St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect excuse to send that extra love!

Creating a custom care package is a simple three step process -- 1. Select your box size and pack it with awesome snacks and sweets. 2. Personalize your greeting card and note. 3. Send your love. The good news is, we’re here to walk you through it in order to make the process as smooth and painless as possible!

Step one -- select your box size. If you already know how big you want the box to be then perfect, you’re all set! If not, during the item selection process, you have the ability to upgrade or downgrade the size. Box sizes range from small, medium, and large and are priced at $30, $50, and $80. So, if you have a specific price range then box size is a great way to ensure you stay within budget.

Once you’ve selected a size, it’s time to pack your box. There are ten categories to sort through, which can be overwhelming, so we’ll break it down for you here! The categories are as follows:

  • Birthday
  • Breakfast
  • Candy
  • Chips
  • Cookies and crackers
  • Drinks and meals
  • Healthy foods
  • School supplies
  • Fitness and protein
  • Spa items

Since this is a St. Patrick’s Day care package, you can probably rule out birthday and school supplies -- unless they’re in need of extra flashcards and a highlighter then the luck of the Irish is in their favor! If you want to ensure you snag all their favorites -- it might help to ask what they would prefer. You can always find creative ways of asking without giving away the surprise! However, parents know best and we’re sure that if you’re filling a care package for your student, you know exactly what to add.

Since it’s St. Patrick's Day, you’re contractually obligated to add the 33’ inch green beads, and maybe even the gold beads too, but the rest is up to you! During the packing process, you can add as much or as few of one item as you like -- for example, if they have an affinity for Skittles, you can send them six bags! They’ll be tasting the rainbow for sure.

Once you’ve finished packing the box you can move on to the note section. Tare a lot of options for greeting cards. The first field you need to select is -- what occasion are you sending the care package for? We’ll list the options below:

  • Final exams
  • St. Patrick's Day
  • Easter
  • Off to College
  • Thank you
  • Thinking of you
  • Halloween
  • Out of the blue
  • Christmas
  • Get well soon
  • Valentine
  • Birthday
  • Happy Holidays

Since this is St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll surely be selecting that greeting card, but keep these other options in mind for the next holiday or birthday! There is also an option to upload an image of your choice if you want to make their experience more personal.

In the next three fields, you will enter who the card is going to, write the message, and disclose who sent it. There are 55-75 characters for your message so you can make it long and thoughtful or short and sweet! Keep in mind emojis can’t be printed, so you’ll have to write out those clever leprechaun riddles! The more you personalize the card, the more your student will enjoy it.

Once step two is complete, the last step is to send the care package! This follows basic online checkout procedures -- shipping address, billing address, payment information, shipping, etc. You’ll also need their university address to ensure it arrives at the correct location. Then send the care package and wait a few days to receive that chipper phone call from them filled with lots of ‘thank yous!’

St. Patrick’s Day is a great excuse to send your student a lucky, fun filled care package or get the friend group together and buy yourself a ‘self care’ care package for the day’s festivities!
