What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs,

blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and

format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

On any other year, celebrating Halloween while you are away at college is simple. You would pick out a costume and go out to a Halloween party, it hardly takes any kind of planning. Now that we have to live with the Coronavirus constantly hanging over our heads, it is not as simple and easy. However, there are ways you can still do Halloween during a pandemic that will keep you and your friends safe.

Talk to Your RA

RAs are students too, they understand how unfortunate and boring college life can be during the pandemic. Talk to them and ask to see if you can do a festive, COVID friendly event right there in the dorms. It does not have to be anything huge and it doesn’t even have to be with the entire dorm building, it can just be with people on your floor. Keep in mind, there is strength in numbers. If your whole floor gets together and convinces the RA to let you guys have a Halloween event, it might just convince them. Plus, the event would not be a party, it could be as simple as you and friends decorating the floor and passing around candy. When Halloween actually comes, you may even be able to convince your RA to let everyone on the floor interact with one another in the hallways as you all dress up in costumes, while wearing masks to abide by COVID regulations of course. If your RA does not think this is a good idea, you can still decorate your dorm to stay festive and possibly even host a little Halloween movie night amongst close friends.

Decorations

Besides dressing up as your favorite character from a TV show or something scary, decorating is a big part of celebrating Halloween. Whether your RA allows you to decorate your hallway or not, you can still always decorate your dorm room to get in the Halloween spirit. Also, decorating your dorm is not all too difficult since it is such a confined space. The Haunting Halls Decorating Package Plus is perfect for any dorm room. The package includes a hangable spooky skeleton, an inflatable zombie, a glow in the dark ghost puffer, funny glow in dark bones gloves, a pack of two face masks, hangable jack-o-lantern lights, and more! The package would be sent directly to your campus and, depending on your school, possibly straight to your dorm room.

There is also a more economical  version of the Haunting Halls Decorating package that includes the same products except for the two face masks. So, if you are just looking for Halloween decorations and do not necessarily need a face mask, this would be a solid option. Another item you can purchase that will bring that spooky, Halloween vibe to your dorm is the Salem Halloween Luminaries. These are little lanterns that come in a set of four featuring a purple and yellow design with bats flying in the background and black cat in the foreground.

These luminaries can be spread out around your room since there are four of them and will definitely add some creepy character to your dorm room. Another light option that can provide the spooky feel that Halloween requires is an LED Candle. This safe, battery-powered candle adds a calming hint of style and light to your dorm decor. However, combined with the other decorations, the LED candle can also provide that Halloween vibe you are looking for.

Match Your Face Mask with Your Costume

Celebrating Halloween during the Coronavirus pandemic can be difficult. Staying safe is an important factor in the matter, so make sure you wear a mask. Of course, you don’t want your mask to interfere with the matching of your costume, so get a mask that works with your costume choice! The Face Mask Blush Pack comes with three masks-- light pink, pink camo, and leopard print. There’s also the Face Mask Print Pack that comes with three masks that include black, green camo, and navy pinstripe styles. If you are looking for something with more character, you always choose the Smiley Face, Bandana Print, Floral Skull, or Tie Dye Tongue face mask.
